Welcome to Year 3!

I’m Mr Bradley and I am excited to be your Year 3 teacher. I look froward to starting our journey together in September, supporting each of you throughout the year and teaching a variety of lessons.

As well as learning the core subjects of English, maths, science and RE, we have lots of amazing topics planned, which we will be exploring throughout the year. Please see the curriculum overview for more details. We also have some fantastic trips and experiences planned, linking to our different topics.

We will continue to have our specialist sports coach (Sports Coaching Group) for PE on a Monday and a further P.E slot on Thursday, so the children will need to come dressed in their kits for both days.

Mr. Stannard will also be teaching music on a Wednesday, and Madame Carter teaching French on a Thursday.

Reading and Homework.

As reading is an essential tool to exercise your mind and increase knowledge, over the course of the year, I encourage you to read as often as possible. Please ensure each time you read it is logged in Boom reader.

Spelling homework will be sent home every Friday and will be tested on a Thursday.
