Welcome from our Head Teacher

I extend a very warm welcome to Lower Peover CofE Primary School.

Our school is a special place where staff and children work together, supported by our Christian faith to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all.

Please spend a few moments browsing our website to see more about what we do, and how we create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment.

For our existing families we hope the website gives you another means of sharing and celebrating what we do.  You can also follow us on Facebook.

I am always proud to show people around our school, you are most welcome to contact the school to arrange a visit.

We do open school to prospective parents on 3 mornings during the first term of each academic year, primarily for the following years' Reception class intake.  For the specific dates and more information, please go to our Open Morning page under School Information.

Please feel free to contact me at any time should you need to discuss anything.

Founded in 1710 Lower Peover Church of England Primary School is a well-established and thriving educational setting. It provides children between the ages of 4 and 11 the opportunity to develop and excel in a safe, quiet and friendly atmosphere. Nestling at the end of a cobbled lane next to the historic St Oswald’s Church.

We strive for the highest academic, artistic, sporting and social successes for our pupils, recognising and celebrating the individuality and achievements of all.  Our Christian values of respect, service, perseverance, courage, forgiveness and compassion are at the heart of everything we do.

Our school vision is:

“Let your light shine, so that others may see the good you do”

Matthew 5:16

A place to learn where everyone feels welcome; based on love, wisdom, and respect.
