Welcome from our Head Teacher
I extend a very warm welcome to Lower Peover C.E Primary School.
As we plan to fully reopen school from Wednesday 2nd September 2020, I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to everyone within our school community.
First and foremost to my staff. For the work and dedication to, not only keeping school open for our key worker and vulnerable children during the closure, providing work and support for all home learning, but also for working tirelessly getting school safe and operational for both the partial and full reopening of school for the children.
To our parents for their kind words, gifts and support during this time, all have been hugely appreciated.
And finally to our children. For those who have been in school throughout the lockdown period, you have been a credit with your impeccable behaviour and attitude. For those children returning after the significant absence, we have missed you all, and are very much looking forward to you returning to school.
Founded in 1710 Lower Peover Church of England Primary School is a well-established and thriving educational setting. It provides children between the ages of 4 and 11 the opportunity to develop and excel in a safe, quiet and friendly atmosphere. Nestling at the end of a cobbled lane next to the historic St Oswald’s Church.
We strive for the highest academic, artistic, sporting and social successes for our pupils, recognising and celebrating the individuality and achievements of all. Our Christian values of respect, service, perseverance, courage, forgiveness and compassion are at the heart of everything we do.
Our school vision is:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” – Colossians 3:23
With the Lord by our side, we strive for excellence in everything we do; aiming to achieve highly within our spiritual community. Working together under God’s guidance, we endeavour to become the best that we can be in our school, where the Christian faith is taught, experienced and lived.
Lower Peover is a special place where staff and children work together, supported by our Christian faith to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all.
Please spend a few moments browsing our school website to see more about what we do and how we create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment. For our existing families we hope the website gives you another means of sharing and celebrating what we do. You can also follow us on Facebook. I am always proud to show people around our school, you are most welcome to contact the school to arrange a visit
