Remote Learning

Where an individual, class or whole school needs to self-isolate, the DfE expects schools to have the capacity to offer immediate remote education.

Since Tuesday 5th January 2021, Lower Peover Primary School has been in a position to offer a full remote education offer.  Following the announcement of school fully reopening from Monday 8th March 2021, remote learning will be offered if a child or class has to self-isolate after this date.

If your child is unable to attend remote lessons – please email both the class teacher and the office to advise of their absence – thank you

Our Remote Learning Intent…

  • Ensures consistency in the approach to remote learning for all pupils
  • Sets out expectations for all members of the school community with regards to remote learning
  • Ensures pupils unable to attend school remain fully included within the school community
  • Continues to ensure that every child receives the best education the school can provide
  • Ensures that remote education is integrated into the school curriculum

The expected remote teaching and study time for each Key Stage is:

Key Stage 1 – minimum 3 hours

Key Stage 2 – minimum 4 hours
