Year 2 Lunch
Thank you for the lovely comments following the parents lunch with Year 2 this week. Elaine Hewitt appreciates all your messages to her, however, the system doesn’t allow her to respond directly.
Donations from the Christingle service raised an amazing £188 for the ‘Children’s Society’. Thank you for supporting this event.
Cluster Schools Football
On Monday evening we took two teams to take part in the cluster schools 5 a side football competition at Holmes Chapel High School. Both teams both played extremely well and came runners up in their groups, narrowly missing out on the final. All the boys represented us wonderfully; working well as team and showing excellent sportsmanship. Well done everyone! The next event is on Monday night for the Year 3 and 4 5 a side football competition.
Morning Drop Off
Traffic is an on-going concern at Lower Peover and I receive numerous calls/ emails about the traffic. I have spoken to the PCSO and she has raised the concerns with highways. If you see any cars which illegally overtake please can I encourage you to call 101 with the number plate. The more complaints they receive will hopefully make them realise the level of danger.
Also, whilst driving up and down The Cobbles I have received complaints of cars driving very quickly and not being considerate, giving way. Thank you for helping the school in this matter.
