A few years ago, we were approached about forming an exchange programme with a school in China. The Petit Chouchou Sino - British International Exchange Camp.
During the summer term in 2024, we welcomed our first visitors from China to our school. During the Easter 2025 break, the return trip was arranged, for those parents interested in taking their children to experience the exchange trip. Two members of staff also accompanied the group. Spending 8 days in Shanghai with a mix of time in a Chinese school along with organised sightseeing tours in and around Shanghai. A wonderful experience for everyone. Thank you to our hosts for making us all feel so welcome.
In July 2025, we will again welcome our friends from China to spend time with us.

July 2025 - Shanghai comes to Lower Peover
Over 2 weeks in July we hosted 23 children, across all year groups, to spend time in school and take part in life at a country primary school. Please see the link from the Knutsford Guardian.
April 2026 - Lower Peover goes to Shanghai
Following a very successful visit to Shanghai in April 2025, some families embarked on the trip to Shanghai during this year's Easter break.
It proved an extremely successful trip with our parents astounded by the hospitality they were shown from our Chinese friends. We look forward to hosting the Shanghai children again in school this July.
